No. You can choose to walk, jog, or run this Virtual 5K. All we ask is that you share mileage traveled and a selfie in our EXCLUSIVE Facebook Community when you are finished!! Check out the Awards and Recognitions Page for possible FUN awards!
We would suggest using an app on your iPhone, Android, Apple Watch, or FitBit Tracker. All of these devices have ways to track your mileage (kilometers). This virtual race is a 5K, so you will need to complete 3.2 miles. Some of our favorite apps to use are: Apple Fitness, Asics Run Keeper, Fitbit, Map My Run by Under Armour, Strava.

We want to encourage participants to join together and complete the 5K, however, it is not mandatory. As of now, there is not a physical location to meet up. Inside the FACEBOOK community, which you will be added to after you join, we will discuss possible locations if some participants would like to join together on October 5, 2024 to complete the 5K with each other.
